Just a little better every episode
everthavg29 December 2022
This series star slow and lazy, really I want to watch more puzzles from this first episode, but now understand every episode is a new brick in the major puzzle, Catherine Z, shine over all crew, and almost star to emerge the really of your character. It' was funny to watch a group of Masons at the street in the Sadusky's wake.

In general the serie isn't bad, it's slow and the writers were lazy when putting a lazy series, but that in each chapter they are weaving the main story between Jess and Liam, I don't think Ben, or Abi will appear.

The puzzles are interesting, and the unique situation out of context was when in the firs box in the shop store, the writers put a extra with any context (the seller).

It's getting better (slowly)

This episode was better than previous eps. It was great seeing Justin Bartha as Riley again, and the hunt is starting to get interesting. My biggest concerns are the same throughout the season: the running social and political commentary, characters having prior knowledge too conveniently, etc etc. I do have to ask; is this series here just to highlight Jake Austin Walker's musical career? It seems like he has to play a song every episode. Don't get me wrong, he's a talented musician, but it just seems like Disney is trying to shoehorn in this person because they think he'll be the next big thing in music.

Waste of Riley?

I'm liking NT Edge of History, I keep saying that. This episode brought back Riley Poole and it was pretty cool and all to see him interact with the main group and try to solve the clues in the funny almost-yet-not-entirely useless way he used to.

But... IDK, it seems a waste of talent to bring back one of the beloved main characters of the movies just to play a rushed "let's find three numbers" Escape Room game. Yeah, the plot moves on regarding the clues that point to the main treasure the young heroes should find. Yes, Riley is still fun and charming. But besides the riddle-solving of the week and the "I'm pretty sure it's not him if you're making it look that obvious" cliffhanger by the end, this felt like one of those "you could have done this in 10 minutes" filling episode.
