Warning: Spoilers
His film is centered around the Khojaly genocide commuted by Russian backed Armenian army against innocent civilians in Azerbaijan. Not knowing about the conflict and seeing this film really shows the viciousness of mankind. It sheds light upon the sad reality of the Nagorno Karabakh war that caused the death of 30 000 Azerbaijanis and the mass ethnic cleansing of nearly 1 MILLION from both Armenia and the illegally occupied Karabakh and it's adjacent districts. The inhumaine conditions through which these people had to live and the endless suffering of a nation really broke my heart. I call on everyone to listen to Azerbaijani people for once instead of following mainstream media. These people deserve justice for the endless corridor of hopelessness and torture cannot last longer.
Very Realistic

It is one of the most important Azerbaijani films. I watched the moviewhen i was a kid and it was shocking for me. The acting is top notch. For years, I thought Melik Dadashov (Armen) was an Armenian, he had a great acting. A very important movie for an Azerbaijani.

Färyad - the scream - of Azerbaijan for its salvation

The movie is about an Azerbaijani PoW of 1992, where you can see his emotions and thoughts for unfair war against Azerbaijan by Armenia and separatists. At the same time, the hero can keep his human face and shows decent action, which surprised his enemies a lot. He replies about their surprise saying "I do not wish to be in my situation even to my enemies". However, he was always dreaming about a cavalier in white, on a white horse fighting his enemies.
In short, we can say that the story is built on moralism, calling to avoid war-time utilitarian behavior because the justice will come soon or later.
P. S. Färyad was shot based on the the real story of Mehman Huseynov (died in 2015). The movie was shot during the 1992-1994 war, and the hero of the movie (Jeyhun Mirzayev) died right after the end of filming. Azerbaijani regions stayed under Armenian occupation from 1994. The second war hapened in 2020 and finished with Azerbaijani victory.

Biased Film
supermichael-454452 January 2021
Azerbaijanis praise this movie but it's extremely untrue and false. The movie isn't even based on an event correctly as it never happened as it was portrayed so incorrectly it's insane. As prepared this rating will get lots of dislikes by the Azerbaijani bots and people because they are brainwashed to think Armenians are aggressors as we all know it's the other way around.
