A must watch movie for the real movie lover ...........
jibus200716 February 2013
Rationally told with the magical touch of innovation and magnificently packed with craftily expertise 24 hrs is a movie that holds the spectator's breath. I would rather explain the movie to be a honest, sensitive, heart throbbing and a stirring attempt on celluloid. Excitingly engaging, the entire span of its reels with a subtle undercurrent of romance and sentimental bondage never makes your mind wander. The film has been trickily shaped up to pull audiences. In an age where the ridiculously termed 'new generation movies' and meaningless thrillers clutter the screens, the supremely gifted filmmaker of 24 hrs has made gunshots and helicopter shoots an extreme visual treat. Appreciable performances of the lead actors synchronizing with the director's capability shines up as a virtue for the movie.

VERDICT : The purity of this film is for the selected class who sees film as a rare medium to chill out and at the same time as a privileged art. The film is sure to find its place in the history of class movies and not in the dumping yard of conventionally designed and narrowly modified new movies with stolen scripts.

All the best for the director and crew members for their upcoming projects.....

Sophisticated thriller

Warning: Spoilers
Guys, this is a good watchable movie. But unfortunately it seems the producer had no money to really make this. A few vfx are laughably artificial and the image looks low-budgety. A few dialog scenes between the hero and heroine are poorly dubbed. The bgm is jarring and totally a misfire. Also, most dialogue are a bit bland especially between the hero and heroine. To be frank, the heroine is not good.

But if you can overlook this, then this can be a rewarding watch. The story is simple. A young guy gets mistaken to have killed a mafia dons (manoj k. jayan's )brother. And the rest of the movie is how he survives one onslaught after another.

If you liked Pokkiri Raja and Chettayees then you may hate this movie. But if you can overlook it's budgetary flaws, then this is actually more sophisticated and well put together. The only real story flaw is the helicopter scene in the end which has no explanation. Why does the don appear in a helicopter?

Apart from that, the rest is in my humble opinion extremely well shot and deftly executed.

The film obviously has budget constraints and flaws caused by the same simply can't be helped.

But the expertise behind this remains undeniable.

Fast paced thriller!

For Malayalam, great movies of the thriller genre are no many. This is one of the few cool thrillers you can find.

Story is about a happy go lucky, wayward man under care of his millionaire brother, who one day gets implicated the murder of an underworld don's brother. The rest is a cat and mouse game, with the killers behind him , and the protagonist trying to prove his innocence and also save all that he loves.

The concept is good, direction is great, music is very catchy. There are NO songs and choreography at all. The weak point is that since the makers haven't invested much, the effects are artificial, and the film has a 'programme like' look. But that's all the bad thing.

Watch it-you'll love it
