It's been five years now since this show bid us farewell and it still finds ways to move me.
I've as of yet not grown tired of re-watching this wonderful, thought provoking series and feel I shall never do.
I just finished this episode and *SAD SPOILER* the scene with Henry and his son had never effected me this way, but I was moved to tears when the young prince shared a delicate moment with his father the king. He will never know his mother. Henry weeps as his precious son shows him the locket with his mothers angelic face within.
There were so many tender moments between all of the characters that we have grown to love, even the ones we might despise. Brilliant!
The performances, costumes, and score were all on full display here in one of the series' finest episodes.
