Season 2... 10s, 10s, 10s across the board!

I'm so happy this season dedicated itself to showing us both teams. It made watching the championships even more special for me. No matter who won, I would have been happy with either team winning. After season 1, I wasn't really impressed with the Nevaro win bc I was like, well they only have to beat one other team. After researching how the divisions work I get why there is only two teams. Season 2 did justice letting us root for both teams and put them on an equal scale. Or the viewer could even decide which team they like more. It wasn't completly one sided. Excited to see these teams bring it to 2022.

Great season overall

Warning: Spoilers
When Gill said "I love you and I'm sorry" I just wept. This girl seems so pure, but mistakes happen and it's okay. I was happy with the Trinity Valley win, I was kinda rooting for the underdog this season. All in all, Cheer is one of the best docuseries out there imo.

I wanted to SEE the routines!!!!
kellyq126 February 2022
I watched an entire season of two schools practicing their routines over and over with the expectation that I'd get to WATCH those routines in Daytona. The filmmakers don't give the viewer the benefit of the doubt and instead resort to flashy editing, slow-motion shots, extreme close-ups, and crowd reactions to destroy any chance of us enjoying the routine and having a chance to make our own judgment call of which school should have won. I certainly can't have an opinion in who should have won when I COULDN'T FULLY WATCH THE ROUTINES! The routines themselves are spectacular enough without manipulation. Such a disappointment.

The best part of this episode was Monica and La'Darius's conversation.

Overall, I liked that this season showcased both schools and got into some deeper issues and topics about the consequences (good and bad) of being on a reality show, Covid, fall-out from Jerry and La'Darius situations, etc.
