Annika must come back to her home village because her mother Pernille has broken his leg falling in the stairs of her bookshop. And surprise !! She learns that she has an half-brother, Henrik, who is very special.Annika cannot understand the infidelity of her mother and doesn't feel affinity with Henrik.But little by little she discovers how all people of the village like Henrik.
The performance of Thure Lindhardt as Henrik is extraordinary !! Also the performances of Senta Berger (Pernille) and of Sandra Borgmann (Annika) are very good.
