Death needs some psychoanalysis and his shrink recently lost his wife. Can the shrink confront death while maintaining professionalism?
I saw this at LIIFE a couple days ago and found it funny and poignant. the script is extremely clever and the performances excellent, particularly the psychiatrist, who gives a moving monologue at the end that put a lump in my throat. There are also some Mel Brooks-like gags involving the Grim Reaper that lighten the mood and keep the film from being too heavy. It's rare to see a film that strikes the balance between silly comedy and drama so well, especially in ten minutes. highly enjoyable.
