Let's start with the culture of BBC: orientalist, racist, ignorant and superficial. And this "documentary" is the ultimate epitome of that culture.
First things first, while listing "ancient cities", if you are to call Istanbul as "Constantinopole", then you should call London "Londonium". And if, on that list, you talk about New York, then that list is not the list of ancient cities.
Second and more importantly, cuneiform writing was invented by the Sumerians (Kengers) not by the Akkadians. I mean, where did you get your diploma? A kinder-garden? Third Reich?
