One actually quite good plot line and one deeply frustrating one. Marilyn, perhaps not surprisingly, doesn't die.Well, she does in one sense but not in the sense of having a funeral and never being seen again. It's as good a way of getting around the prediction as any and leads to a curious role reversal between Sid and Marilyn, with the former illogically but understandably blaming himself for not being open-minded and the latter even more illogically deciding that there aren't more things in heaven and earth after all.Dexter is on brilliant form as usual, especially his "I heard it was a really nice dog" to Colleen following her playing Marilyn's DVD.
Meanwhile, Robertson continues his quest to be the most hated person on the show at the moment, with Will not far behind.Either he's a very good detective or a very bad one and Will there's just no excuse for. Unless he's telling the truth but we can probably rule that one out. It's obvious from Graves' looks of disapproval that Robertson has basically just bluffed/bullied Will into making a confession, which is almost certainly false. Not a very good look for either of them.
