I love baking shows. And, for me, this remains one of the most inspired. Because it is not only baking but the voice of Martha Steward, each explanation, the suggestions, the care for details, the atmosphere and confidences are good points of a lovely show about food as more then in usual manner. The beauty of a well crafted show, giving profound sense to baking.

Just deserts

I'm not usually a cooking show watcher, but I've really taken to this program. Partly because I love deserts, cakes, etc, which are the primary focus of this program (hence the 'bakes'), but also because of Martha's soft-spoken and, quite frankly, calming disposition. It's just a very pleasant show to watch both inspiration-wise and aesthetically.

Delightful!

I recently discovered Martha Bakes, and her warmth and care is evident in her show. She really wants the viewer to have quality bakes, especially in these pandemic times when it seems every second person is baking banana bread.

I like the background to Martha's kitchen. All credit to the artist in designing that.

Also a shoutout to some of the production crew. Bakers: Sarah Mastracco, Jason Schreiber, Samantha Seneviratne. Assistant Bakers are: Caitlin Haught and Molly Wenk. Josefa Palacios, Geri Porter and Kavita Thirupuvanam are the Kitchen Assistants. Utility are Brendan Furlong and Sae Wook Oh. Senior Director, Desktop Services is Angus Chen, and Station Relations are Dani Cook and Khanh Phan.
