I have been so invested in finding out what went down in Kai's past with his father and getting more of a peak into that puzzle was such a delight tonight! Alex Tarrant was in top form tonight and I got such a kick out of his gig in the kitchen. Plus I just LOVE the dynamics of the relationships between Jane, Daniel and Alex - I really love the balance they strike here of people who really do love each other, but the two ex'es have a little too much friction and then you've got slightly rebellious teenage Alex thrown in for good measure! Their chemistry as a family feels very organic and very true. Such a pleasure to watch tonight!

That the writers (3 three) already screw it up again. I would like to understand these people's minds. The plot and stories are pitiful. This series is already dead. Bad actors, bad plot, the only thing that can be saved is being in Hawaii. RIP.
