Bris vs Carl, at Metricon.

Warning: Spoilers
The Blues without Madden or Williams, the key matchup here will be Kernahan vs Champion. A slow start to the game. Merrett clearly rakes a bloke across the face in the ruck, no whistle heh. Hutton goals from 60 starting to capitalize on Brisbane's 1st quarter dominance. The Bears end the term up just 16 though. Hutton goals again, this time from the boundary. The Blues forward entries are coming back out just as fast, Hutton goals again from outside 50. Leslie involved in everything, Brisbane up 27 at the half. Kernahan starts to put his imprint on the game in the 3rd, kicking his 3rd goal and getting the Blues back within 2 goals. A lot of concussions and injuries, Leslie one of those, the Bears without any bench for a fair portion of the game, up 10 going into the last. Merrett impactful for the Bears, but the Blues goal accuracy turns around in the 2nd half. They go on to take the lead and run away with it in the end. The Blues handily won the hit-outs, the Bears with more disposal, marks and tackles, but 9 less scoring shots. Kernahan best afield, with 18 kicks, 10 marks, 5 hit-outs and 5 goals. Brown 18 disposals and a goal. Hanna 14 disposals, 4 marks. For the Bears, Leslie 17 disposals, 6 marks, 2 tackles, playing just the 1st half. Hutton 13 disposals, 4 marks, 3 goals. Merrett 16 disposals, 6 marks and a goal.

3. (Carl) S. Kernahan, 2. (Bris) M. Leslie, 1. (Carl) F. Brown.
