Vidyasagar was the pioneer of Bengal Renaissance. We have to remember this great personality who gifted us the bengali letters ( Barna parichay). Here the series was successful to deliver the legacy of Vidyasagar, the widow welfare work of him. The series has humor, thrill, sad feelings, inspiring moments, a total package of what a content should be. Recommend all to see this series.

A Fantastic mini-series. Great characters. Well cooked back-stories. Gives A mixture of ominous and optimistic feel. A well written Thriller/drama. The climaxes are well earned. Leaves a impression that would make you linger with it long after it's finished. A must watch for anyone who thinks Hoichoi only produces psycho-erotic dramas. A great approach. Cudos!🙏

I really don't know why people don't see these types of movies instead run behind all stupid commercial movies..
I must say this is one of the finest movies with fine story..

The screenplay and dialogues are extremely amateur. None of the dialogues felt natural delivered by many veteran and good actors, so one has to conclude that the dialogue design was unnatural. The screenplay felt like the writer was trying to spoon feed the audience, and at times it was dragging without any intention.
And so many actors, many of them reputed and well respected, failed to garner even a moment of charisma on screen, this was just sad.

From the moment the first episode starts, the storyline hooks on to you. Backed by brilliant down to earth acting of each character. It brings out the rural image of the Sunderbans and the evil nature of the hierarchy.
