The CBI agents investigate the murder of Ted Fisher, who had his repair shop invaded and vandalized. Meanwhile, the thief Donny Culpepper is arrested after opening the safe of J. J. LaRoche hired by Patrick Jane. He loses concentration in Ted Fisher's case trying to find a means to withdraw Culpepper from the jail. Meanwhile, the agents arrest Cole Ruger and Vivian Griswold, who claims that were trying to help and investigate respectively Ted Fisher that was in Iraq. Fisher's girlfriend, the hippie Heather Blue, learns the true past of Fisher. When the young Iraqi Omar Hassan is arrested by the CBI agents, Patrick asks to join the suspects and Heather in the repair shop to find the killer.

"Redacted" is an episode of "The Mentalist" with many suspect and a surprising conclusion, when the unlikely identity of the criminal is disclosed. My vote is eight.

Wesam Keesh
Wesam is an outstanding young actor, given the right opportunity I believe he could become a big star. I truly hope that the writers and producers of other television shows and movies will take a serious look at this young man and give him the break that he deserves. In my opinion you will not be sorry by casting Wesam in a regular role on television or in a movie. His star will rise given the right opportunity. All actors have been young at one time and here you have a young actor trying to break into the business as a lot of others have tried to do and have been very successful. Give this young man a chance to show all of the Hollywood elite just what he can do as a young actor. There are some people that try to become actors that have no acting talent at all, I believe that Wesam has a talent for acting and should be given an oportuntiy to show people that he can act in a variety of roles.

Pretty ridiculous
CrimeDrama18 May 2022
This episode falls in the writer's category: we couldn't think of anything else. Ted Fisher hid $2 million belonging to an Iraqi family who wanted his help to immigrate to the United States. Who cares who killed him, he put a target on his own back! Why a massive rug? It is not the easiest thing to sell. I understand Jane's desire to kill Red John but hiring a criminal known to the CBI to break into LaRoche's home to find some leverage - an unopened, duct-taped Tupperware container in his safe - only to be caught and force Jane to find a way to drop the charges...it is all too silly. I already knew that Jane's knowledge of the Tupperware container is all he needs to help find the CBI mole. In this episode, Jane wastes a lot of time (not unusual for him) figuring out how to help the criminal he hired to escape from jail only for the criminal to refuse and then demand the charges be dropped or he will rat out Jane. I call it "Fun with Jane Time" but it usually has nothing to do with solving the case. I don't watch crime dramas for comedy...or silliness. I like an intriguing mystery with a clever solution but the writers and producers of this show never prioritized that. I really only like this show because of the Red John mythology.
