Katie's parents are doing through a rough patch, she believes that when she left home and married Ralph, that she was the cause of it.
Once again it comes down to people thinking that they're helping, meaning well, but totally misjudging the situation, Brian being the easy one to highlight, but Katie's parents even more guilty of it, but on a different level.
Quite serious in tone this one, it's the first time I felt like I've missed, and wanted to see Christopher Eccleston, I wonder if he will pop up here, or even in the future, it would be a nice twist. This one did lack the laughs, even Brian was used as a serious player, it was deep and moving, it just lacked the lighter touches of earlier episodes.
7/10.
