Beautifully crafted account of ancient Ireland
mymaisu2 October 2012
A visual collage of images and lore that together give the impression of indeed "Another World". It is a treat to hear the stories of ancient Ireland as remembered through those that bore witness to old Ireland. A place which has subsequently changed a great deal. I have such respect for the origination of these beliefs and traditions. There are seemingly a handful of folks out there that gather this folklore before it is completely gone (and remembered only in Disney films as little leprechauns under rainbows). The faces(and stories)of these old people will linger with me and haunt me as pleasantly as the misty Irish landscape. I am grateful to those filmmakers intent on preserving this lineage of oral history in such a atmospheric and sincere way. Highly recommended.
