"Well, what a tangled little web we've woven for ourselves"
skteosk3 May 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Marilyn seemingly crosses any remaining lines here, not caring about anything or anyone but getting what she wants. Her paranoid ranting about Roo is so disgraceful that it's a source of incredible frustration that Morag and Sid pander to her instead of asking her where she gets off. It's even more frustrating that Morag actually takes her side over Roo:The writing of Morag and Roo's relationship since they came back has been so out of character that you wonder if anyone working on the show has ever seen them together.By the end of the episode, Marilyn's apparently decided she can dictate who Nicole's friends are, which no-one seems particularly bothered about.

Gina proves herself just as immature as Xavier and without much excuse: Her opening speech to John about the hole she's digging for herself mirrors his conversations with Dexter.A somewhat confused ending apparently sees Gina accidentally blowing the lid on Xavier's secret. Although Xavier and Miranda's relationship has been interesting, Gina's been so annoying the last two episodes it's actually a relief it's over.

Meanwhile, April finally talks to a doctor about her OCD.There's a nice scene between Sid and Dexter but there's some worrying characterisation going on here, like suddenly making out Bianca's the strong one and April the neurotic one(which, thankfully, they take back)or trying to suggest a strong connection between her and Dexter(which, unfortunately, they don't).The fact that Xavier and April appear in the same episode with the same characters and have no involvement in each other's storyline is incredibly disappointing.
