Yana is a beautiful girl who struggles with anorexia. In this short film the director gives a short but intense inside in Yana her life as she tries to ignore the illness. With nice images of Holland and Amsterdam the movie is next to the interesting story, also a Eyecatcher. The music is introvert and suites the movie quite nice.
Yana grabs you by the throat from the start and does not let you go at the end. A very fresh and nice start of a starting director Marnix van Wijk. Hope he makes more of those movies in the near future. Lisa Smit is a young but very good actress who looks like the role has been written for her.
