SWEET AS A PEACH is an erotic comedy based around a beauty contest with the unlikely moniker of "Miss Fruit International". The story centres around three rival women who do all they can to promote themselves and ruin the chances of the others. The film has dated in the respect that the fruit they're particularly promoting is the Fukushima peach, which they repeatedly praise for its juiciness. I'm guessing that since the nuclear leak in Fukushima, sales of said peach have stalled.
In any case, SWEET AS A PEACH is a simple and rather silly comedy, with bad acting and cheesy lines throughout. It was directed by Yumi Yoshiyuki, a former actress in such fare who has helmed dozens of similar adult video productions. I saw this on Amazon prime in a 41 minute version, which I'm guessing has all of the explicit content removed given that the camera cuts away when anything vaguely sexual arises and the run-time listed on IMDb is an hour. Any nudity from the starlets is fogged out as well.
