Kouichiro pretends to be Chisato's boyfriend so her grandmother stops trying to find her a husband. But she applies a lot of tests on the couple and disturbs their Megarangers chores. Despite Silver Mega showing up to defeat Termite Nezire, the monster had already planted a lot of eggs that destroy the city and forms a clone of the monster. The bugs destroy their weapons and Chisato runs away with her grandma and both get into a fight. Grandma watches Chisato as she transforms into Mega Yellow - the reason why she had run away to hide her secret - and decides to interfere in the fight with the monster. After getting in giant mode, the monster became challenging since all of it parts can split. Mega Yellow commands the Mecha and figures out it couldn't split if frozen. After the fight, Chisato get along with her grandma.
