This is a spoiler, but what do you mean? What were the writers thinking when they butchered the main character with the most show time? Only to make the father into a villain? I think it was a desperate attempt to showcase the mirror view of the father; in fact, it was rushed. In one moment, the main character was alive seconds later she was dead? This is not exactly what the writers should have done. They definitely could have done a better job trying to implement that idea. Increased the number of episodes. Putting apart the orakas and the mainland stories in two separate episodes. They could have done a better job indeed.
