A+ for representation

Representation matters.

Kudos to Bluey for including an AUSLAN interpreted version of this most amazing episode, taking what was already known as one of the best kids shows ever to a whole other level of brilliance.

Solid B

Hahaha the Dad is so hilariously cold blooded! That was awesome, multiple times. He's so awesome. The turtle wasn't all that cool tho. It's cute they did the thing for the hearing impaired, though.

The Dad is so funny, i won't say it's a classic Bluey but it is definitely solid top 25%. The dad shines and he's the clear star of the show.

It's worth watching for sure but not a top 10. But considering how many episodes they make they made a solid episode.

Also can we all admit Australian accents make everything more attractive and interesting.

I'd imagine if this was done with Americans accents I'd hate it.

The turtle

Warning: Spoilers
Turtleboy is groundbreaking as this is the first Bluey episode to have a variation of a sign language, Auslan (Australian Sign Language), as Dougie communicates with his Mom through Auslan. All credit to the production team for doing this, and increasing representation. In fact, CODA was released in 2021 so good to see Turtleboy building on that.

I'm enjoying watching Bluey in the new year, and I'm catching up on season three finally amidst the despair, doom, depression and desperation of 2023, Bluey is an antidote to this and all credit to the production team for maintaining the standards of Bluey.
