I hope it improves going forward, this was a pretty poor first episode, I can't say I'm gripped by the story, and the acting, considering there are so many experienced actors here, it's pretty poorly acted.
On the plus side, Aberdeen looks great, and it features the excellent Gary Lewis, but even an actor with his talent is looking a little flat.
I'm quite surprised it was put out in the evenings, it feels more like an afternoon drama, the only trouble, is that it lacks the charm, the amusement, the escape.
It's actually hard to concentrate, it's so dull, 4/10.
