Sex & Nudity

- No sex or nudity.
- However, there is some brief kissing between teenagers. In a rape scene, a teenager girl's pants can briefly be seen being pulled off, exposing her thighs.
Violence & Gore

- No gore. Most of the violence consists of high-tension melee contact, but at one point, a pistol is drawn and fired at somebody. Two characters have bruised faces at one point.
- There are flashback shots of a teenage girl being raped by a man, slapped around by a woman or antagonized in other ways. The rape is on the rather implicit side, but in one of the shots, a closeup, the man's hand also can be seen wrapped around the girl's neck during the attack.
- In multiple instances a two teenage boys ambush and rob an unsuspecting woman walking down the street, one attacker approaching from behind, seizing her, and the other from the front, snatching her effects such as purse and jewelry. One of their victims fights back and kicks the front attacker in the face.
- A very turbulent physical altercation between teenage girls occurs, and several face punches are thrown, a while before adults arrive to break it up. The fight was two against one, to some extent.
- Two policemen slam a man to the floor as they arrest him, after having lawfully barged into his home.
- Various forms of antagonism or bullying are prevalent, including desecration of the target's personal effects.
Profanity

- Various curses and fighting words are infrequently uttered, including "fuck you". There is also extreme profanity in much more casual contexts. At least once, "nigger" is uttered among teenagers.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Various characters smoke various drugs including marijuana, and in one case, an old man smokes a likely more potent article out of glass tube.
- There is a lot of implicit alcohol consumption by teenagers and young adults at an apartment house party. The people can be seen drinking from red plastic cups, some while holding beer bottles. In one part, there is a view of shot glasses filled with clear liquor being picked up off a coffee table, and after a cutaway view, same shot glasses appear empty on the table.
- In one scene, a man smokes a custom cigar, a blunt, while seated on a sofa near a coffee table full of bottles of liquor and wine. A teenage girl is seated beside him. In a later scene, at the same setting, multiple teenagers are smoking bluntettes, while speaking of getting high.

Violence & Gore
- Two teenage boys briefly fight with two other teenage boys, and ultimately one boy is repeatedly kicked while he is down, before his attackers flee. Much later, two teenage boys are jumped by a group of a little under a dozen teenage boys and men. One of the participants in this violent commotion draws a pistol and shoots one of his adversaries, and a boy winds up in the hospital.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- There is no shortage of tension in the scenes involving or surrounding violence. Contrary to what one might expect from a movie of this vein, with the urban setting and presence of thugs, there are no fatalities.
