What a beautiful movie! I haven't seen a Chinese film with such texture in a long time. It tells a story of redemption and fulfillment in beauty and poetry. The feelings of the two girls are quite metaphysical in breaking through the general sense. The director is a talented man, come on!

How did the director do it? Every frame is like an old photo with a nostalgic atmosphere. Gave me a sense of what China was like in the 1980s. I watched another of his films, Shadows and Echoes, which were equally stunning. It seems that the director likes to use the word "shadow", and there is always a sense of both reality and illusion in the film.

It's a good film. It's very well made. The film needs feeling to feel deep thinking. The director must be a very talented person. The chemistry between those two girls is so beautiful.
