One of the Greatest Season Finales of All Time

The League is possibly one of the most underrated and under watched programs on television, and is also one of the funniest. Over the past few years it has been making its way up the ranks of FX programming, which has the best comedies in all of television. Now, this episode brought in some of the most outrageous and hilarious moments television has seen this year. Ruxin, in the previous episode, had a stroke and leaves his team to Andre. Meanwhile, Taco, who had a near-death experience, which was actually Ruxin's stroke. Kevin and Jenny have a bet that if Kevin wins the Shiva Bowl, Jenny and Kevin will have another child. Meanwhile, Rafi insists on killing Ruxin and keeps trying to woo his nurse, who appears to be able to apply for the AARP. Taco keeps avoiding everything about the league and instead gives money to Matt Forte's charity. When it all boils down to it, these people might be the biggest douchebags on the earth, besides Dennis, Mac, Charlie and Co. But they somehow managed to find each other and their douchebaginess is what makes this show work, along with it's absolute absurdity, such as when at the end of the episode, Ruxin recovers from his stroke after seeing Shiva at the hospital and Rafi then arriving at Taco's funeral of the fantasy football league with Ruxin in a trash bag, still in his hospital gown. This show offers a great cast and great hilarity and it's a shame that it is not more popular then it actually is. Not an all time great, but it will always be great. Well, as long as it doesn't overdue its stay such as Scrubs did, which by the way, has my all-time favorite season finale with JD's finale "My Finale", something else you should definitely check out if you haven't yet. This finale ends on a high note, even though Ruxin literally burns the season ans sends it sailing, discarding Jenny and Kevin's bet, Jenny tells Kevin that he did in fact win the bet, as he impregnated her several days earlier. He then chased after the burning boat. The League is a great show and "The Funeral" was one of its best episodes yet. I hope the show stays on air so I can see more of these hilarious jerks.
