Three cheers for Lynn!
MegaTomboyFan20 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed Cheer Pressure. Not only is it one of the greatest season 6 episodes, it's also one of the greatest Lynn episodes. It starts with Lynn and her friends dismissing the school cheerleaders as not being true athletes, upsetting them enough to challenge Lynn, Margo and Paula to a cheer off. Lynn and her friends proceed to spend a great portion of the episode training for the cheer off, only to learn how hard it was, till they got the basics right. Later at the cheer off (Lynn looks great as a cheerleader by the way), Lynn, Margo and Paula perform a cheer routine that got some applause, only to then be beaten by the cheerleaders more superior routine. The best part of the episode comes, when Lynn (and Margo and Paula) acted like a good sport and proceeded to congratulate the cheerleaders for their win and apologized for what she said about them earlier, which they accepted and became friends with her and her friends. A really great Lynn episode you'll enjoy 😊

A horrible pair...

Warning: Spoilers
Oh man... these episodes are really something else. For starters, the entirety of Cheer Pressure's plot synopsis is pretty much a lie. I'd probably like this episode more if the cheer-off didn't happen with 2 MINUTES LEFT (they only spend a minute on it). The unique pair of Lynn and Cheryl and Meryl was alright I guess. Didn't do anything but at least it was original. If you want a better episode about cheerleading that actually puts more focus on the competition part, watch Go! Fight! Win! From Brandy & Mr. Whiskers (despite it being like... the lowest rated episode on IMDb). Moving on, Stroke of Luck is one of the best Andrew Brooks episodes... yet it still sucks. Seeing Lori was a treat, but here's a plot hole: why didn't she just talk to Marisa (her college roomate) about her issue like in Lori Days? Oh, another thing, how did Lori just now notice the ball she used to beat the course was from Lisa if she picked up from the Loud's? I don't know, but maybe if that stuff was explained this could have been better. Seeing Lori enjoying herself was pretty nice to see though, even though it lead to intense stress and the liar revealed story mixed with the "I gotta keep this a secret because potatoes" trope. Kinda reminds me of Big Girls Don't Body Slam from Brandy & Mr. Whiskers in that sense lol. Cheer Pressure is a 1/10 and Stroke of Luck is a 3/10, I don't know why (as of writing this) this episode has a 9.7 average, but the average of my scores is a 2/10. I really hope Space Jammed and Crown and Dirty (finally another Lola episode!!!) will be better. Oh boy was I right on that one.
