Writer/Director Addison Sandoval really goes all out in this film. This film really exemplifies his profound vision. The story is very, very evocative and its really difficult not to get emotional when you're watching it. There is also a very interesting culture factor that adds a novel twist to the story. This film is really unlike any I have ever watched before in a good way. The film makes references to various societal ills and addresses real world problems without shying away from the true realities that many people actually face. Things aren't sugarcoated in this film and that's one of the things I love about director Addison Sandoval's filmmaking. When it comes to his vision, Addison's is unparalleled.
