It's really sad to see a genius filmmaker turned into an actor just for the sake of his livelihood.

The story is nothing new and the kinda screenplay taken up is also nothing new with a backdrop for a serial killer telling his tale with a not-so-intriguing investigating officer.

I really really hope that Selvaraghavan becomes what he is truly made of, filmmaking, that's where his strengths are and I believe he gets into that zone as quickly as possible and hence wish that this film backfires and marks the end of his acting career and re-starting his directing part.

And moreover, this trend of spreading negative events in female lives needs to stop, it's not doing anything good.

Man is away the entire day earning his livelihood. Wife is preoccupied with housework. Their young daughter is in her room studying, with the door shut. But is she really studying? No. She covertly sends her nude videos to her paramour, who threatens to make these viral if she does not indulge in prostitution. Ultimately she has no option but to commit suicide. Such occurrences are on the rise. Teachers, security guards, cops and hostel wardens are all involved in this appalling scam. Tamil movie #Bakasuran deals with a pertinent topic and boasts of good performances. It certainly needs to be watched by all pubescent women. Running time needs to be reduced by 20 minutes. Rating 3/5.

This is a story that needed to be told for today's generation. Bakasuran took time to expose online sex trafficking and its repercussions. We were well advised.

How we just wished that the acting and screenplay were more robust to take Bakasuran to higher heights!

DELICIOUS

-We want to appreciate Mohan G for conceiving this story and upholding cultural values👊🏾 Though there were many occasions to make the movie sexual or explicit, Mohan still retained a sense of decency which was very appreciated, and various examples were illustrated to serve as lessons

-There was no heroine or female love interest for the main characters! Thank you for this originality and breaking out from the typical characters

-Not every development or technology is an advancement, it's still crucial to maintain the good side of our cultures and that's exactly what Bakasuran showed

BLAND

-From the lead characters to the supporting cast, no one stood out. It appeared like one person was repeating his lines, then the other followed with his; it wasn't flowing naturally

-Some of the sequences were quite coincidental while others lacked logic, e.g. Arul is telling his assistant how to trap a pimp but this scene takes place outdoors few meters away from the targeted location

-The movie started off in a captivating manner, however, toward ¾ of the film, the pace toned down with a sequence of predictable events.

"Bakasuran" is a Tamil film from 2023 that delves into the world of crime and forced prostitution. While the direction and screenplay of the film may not be particularly memorable, the performances of the actors and the thriller effect it produces are the strengths of this film.

Selvaraghavan, Natatajan Subramaniam, Radha Ravi, K. Rajan, and Ramachandran Durairaj deliver convincing performances that bring credibility to the story. The action scenes and twists throughout the film keep the audience engaged.

However, despite these strengths, "Bakasuran" is not a film for everyone. The subject of forced prostitution may be difficult to watch for some viewers. Additionally, the direction and screenplay were not strong enough to give true depth to the story.

In conclusion, "Bakasuran" is an average Tamil film that will appeal to those who enjoy crime films. I give it a rating of 6/10 and recommend it to Tamil thriller enthusiasts looking for an interesting story and solid performances from the actors.

Usually Mohan. G films create controversy at the time of release to their minimal theatrical run whereas this time the scenario is entirely different....with a clear message of smartphones impact among children in the modern era and educating parents' role in handling it is a well-intentioned and director need to be appreciated but a good intentional thought alone can't save a film... The prime thing to be noted is selvaraghavan as a cold-blooded killer scores well and reminds of "SAANI KAYIDHAM", but his performance as an artist or father is questionable miles to go for this actor... On the other hand natty does give a neat performance required for the character.... Sam cs contribution for bgm or opening song is a best thing in a movie hats off to his work.... Overall an insane story with an amazing message makes this flick a one-time watchable above average movie.

The story starts with a brutal murder and has a parallel narration with Natty and Selvaraghavan characters. The edit points are abrupt and it was just cut in the middle of action. The daughter character wears the same costume in majority of her scenes. The casting could have been better and staging is very bad. The Director seems to have taken just the plot and made emotional only where it needed. The setting look bad in the first half when the character says your brothers daughter died by suicide. Only Sam CS tried to fill the emotionless places with his background score and high pitch notes.

I don't know how it got 7/10 rating..what this movie implies?

1)A women rightness and how it should be followed.. 2)You cannot send a women to cities.. 3)Women will take her life if someone blackmails her..bcz her karpu and maanam (honour)is more important than her life.. 4) Solution for all these is violence according to d director..or parents should start 24/7 surveillance of their daughters till she gets married.. Such a cheap patriarchal mindset implying that women hav to be protected..nowhere he talks about educating women or creating awareness among them .. Director should watch ayali..

Exelant screen play, great direction by Mogan G & best useful reality story for all people, my kind request to people be watch atleast once the Pagasiran 2023 movie (perents, School/Colage girls, Boys & Women's) Thanks to Pagasiran team.

Mogan G, better improvement from his movies, now perfoming a perfect man of direction few lake of screen play combination but not bade, My strong recommendation to all Mogan G is a young grooving director from middle class family background so please farword yours hands also.

The soundtrack and background music for this movie were composed by Sam C. S. The film was edited by Devaraj S, and the cinematography was handled by Farook J. Basha. Sam C. The plotline in Bakasuran centres around college students and housewives who offered their bodies in exchange for money using the Tocanto app, much like in an action drama.

I just finished watching one of the Terrible movie released this year. As a big fan of Selvaraghavan's work, I've seen most of the movies he has directed. However, I have to say that he is not a good actor. Additionally, I found the movie script to be outdated and regressive in some ways. While it's true that giving mobile phones to young children is not advisable, considering gadgets and mobile phones as inherently evil is a misguided perspective. In reality, gadgets have made our lives better in many ways. Of course, moderation is key, and promoting violence and killing in is never acceptable.

Unless you are a ps*ch*path, this movie is not for you. What else to expect from this director? W*rst in every aspect. Story is very much expected from this director. Extremely divisive, not for normal people! If you find solace on a useless director, useless team, useless movie, this is for you! Nowadays, people including teenagers, are better educated and advised by their parents on the dangers of online entanglement. Such so-called creators need to shut their mouth, and stay at home, trying to promote casteism. Even better, these directors can get into TV show debates and show their stupidity there, where nobody watches. Movies can be classified as entertainment, artwork, comedy, drama, period, modern, socialistic, problem solving etc., Sadly, such story lines drag our though process behind. Anyways, no one is going to watch the movie. However, if you are still not convinced, watch the movie, and waste your spare time. Time can be better spent elsewhere!

A very Must worth Watching action and good dramatic Movie for all audiance particularly Family An excellent Movie by Mohan G and wonderful Performance by Selvaragavan, misuse of Cellphone and its implications on Family and society.

Bakasuran very much needed movie for the Indian society. Young India moving forward for India's great future The Super Power, on the way to reach great destination some of the planned or unplanned intervention or interruption happening in the name of drugs and sexually or vulgar things, spoiling the nature of India. It completely diverting also make the young Indians are addicted to such a unwanted activities.

Movie was fantastic, it's clearly spotted issue happening at present. It helps us aware about such a unspoken issues. Well made movie by director M. G and the Team. Actor Selva Sir genius & Talented Natty Sir Nailed it on there roles. Surprising character Cool surash done his job well, and also Gunanidhi & YouTuber did well.

Heard mixed reviews from audiance and went to watch. EXCELLENT..This is not a movie rather a must watch how Girls and parents can be alerted... Director Mohan G nailed it and he has been doing this in his past films as well... Selvaragavan just lived in that movie and he has be showing tremendous painful expressions as a real father went through.. Natarajan played a superb role. Also other artists made this film a remarkable and super hit movie..Thanks to Mohan G for going through such a great story where no other directors date to touch .. your dedication and story selection were really blessing to you ..keep rocking.

First, thinking and executing this concept in movie is very different and difficult too...On top of that, Star cast value of Selva ragavan and Natrajan pulled into this movie and make them to understand are quite difficult job. This movie revolves around the cyber crimes that all happening in this digital world. It gives awareness to both the parents and youngsters. It warns them a lot and let them to understand the negative impacts of smartphone.

It reveals the traps that are used by the criminals against the victims and said to the victims to be bold. Dialogues are wonderful and understandable for everyone, that's the strong base.

Screenplay is really wonderful and the actors of Selvaragavan, Natty, K Rajan are did their roles perfectly. Sam C S music is good and background score is awesome.

This is a must watch movie. No one can miss to highlight Selvaraghavan's acting skills. The concept, direction, screenplay everything was too good. Kudos to the director. The middle class man's revenge plot was convincing. Two important messages conveyed in the movie. One - Parents should keep an eye on their children and should try to be updated on what they are doing with their mobile phones. Two - We should encourage our children to share their problems with us. Most of the mishaps are happening because of the fear the child has on their parents. These two concepts are explained clearly in a most appealing way.
