A clunker from Whitney
lor_31 August 2022
Whitney Wright had been making a name for herself transitioning from porn actress to director (especially in fine work for Missa X), but this assignment for France's Dorcel label is a step backward.

It plays okay but lacks any inspiration or point. Since Whitney's no hack just cranking out movie after movie on schedule (see Dorcel's workhorse Herve Bodilis for that slot) one wonders why she settled on this script for a prestige Dorcel production.

It stars Skye Blue as a bride to be, with opening sex scene showing her bedding down with her groom to be Damon Dice, an uneventful and unexciting starting point.

In for the wedding are her brother Dante Colle, who she hasn't seen in quite a while, with his girlfriend Ana Foxxx in tow. They have the next sex scene, interracial action.

Skye has an erotic dream, a lesbian threesome with Violet Starr and young gonzo starlet Aria Lee. It's meant as a clue that our leading lady about to get hitched is bicurious. Duh!

The loving couples' futures go awry when Ana discovers the groom dallying with a hot model (Gianna Dior, biggest star in the cast, but in a nothing role), and upshot is both Skye and Ana dumping their boyfriends and turning to each other for true love. A bit corny, methinks.

For Dorcel, it's one of the big French label's many recent turning to Chatsworth for big-name talent and new product, but the quality is hardly up to Dorcel's high standards. And sadly, the cast didn't even get a trip to Europe, all expenses paid.
