A real coo

The best episode of the series so far with some real laughs and camp acting as it would have been back in thd day of the film rather than the in-your-face gay shenanigans TV offers today.

Lomper stars in this story but his hus and Dennis is a hit too while your empathy has to lie with Horse as he seeks employment.

The stories with Dave and Jean are still top form while it seems to be Gaz whose character seems to be suffering.

Guy's role is limited and the introduction of his intended Yvonne is unfortunate as Guy is written out from this point due to behind the scenes politics regarding actor Hugo Speer which is why his role has been rather limited anyway.

A top drawer episode.

Homing

Homing concentrates more on Lomper (Steve Huison) who has been acting very furtively in this series.

In the movie, Lomper was the awkward shy one and he had a relationship with Guy.

Now he has been married to Dennis (Paul Clayton) for some years. It is Dennis who is more business minded, flamboyant and the more assertive one in the relationship. It is also hinted in this episode that Dennis has children and grandchildren

Lomper has money trouble. He has borrowed heavily from a loan shark. He has a secret venture that involves travelling secretly to Amsterdam.

Lomper has not brought back drugs but bought a pedigree pigeon at the cost of £60,000. The plan is to breed the pigeon for its eggs. Only the pigeon gets lost and everyone has to look for it.

It is all a bit daft but agreeable enough given the low bar the series has set so far.

Bruce Jones who plays Vince and is involved in the pigeon venture with Lomper. He appeared in the movie as one of the prospective male strippers.

With the presence of Paul Barber better known as Denzil from Only Fools and Horses. I did wonder if the ending would replicate the one where Del Boy is looking for a valuable butterfly. You know it sort of did!
