A sort of fairy tale. Familiar in each of its trait Remembering Tarkovsky's Stalker, Abuladze's Repetance or Soviet war films atmosphere. A film about roots, past, options and truth. Great because it is profound Russian in every scene, in the construction of monologue, in the nuances of memories and in the end . Short, admirable circle of fate.
