The tale of a one sided relationship. Deena is involved and Sincere shows up. Dr. Alduan Tartt provided great wisdom to Deena which applies to so many people. "When we are lonely we make poor choices." "Here is the down side when you settle. People meet you where you lowered the bar." In Deena's case she gets what I call the wake-up call in her relationship: the ultimate disregard and disrespect which usually revolves around significant moments: your birthday, tragedy, promotion, and other occasions met with abandonment. When you settle you often establish a situation that benefits the other person with little gain on your part. In Deena's situation he gets love, support, and sex while putting no effort into the relationship. What I love about Deena is she owned her fear of waiting and being lonely but realized that holding onto something non-existent was not in her best interest. The way she broke up with Sincere was by being honest and telling him she was looking for a deeper relationship and she's aware he's not looking for the same. Deena dumped Sincere for being insincere; sorry I couldn't resist the play on words. Deena explained she had a great time but she informed him that in order to find someone who shares the same desires in life she needs to move forward and end their relationship. Great Advice from Dr. Tartt: Position yourself with a total mindset and be in places where men are present that you are attracted to who possess the qualities you desire.
