- There are a few scenes where a female character finds a male character's magazine of women wearing revealing bikinis. The male character is embarassed by this. The scene lingers on the magazine cover which could make younger viewers uncomfortable. No nudity is shown.
- Some of the scene angles emphasize female character's bosoms. Young viewers could find some of the scene angles awkward due to the emphasis on breasts.

- There are some fantasy violence in this anime series. It's not really "fantasy." The violence isn't really happening. It's only in some people's minds who are infected with Chunibyo simliar to daydreaming
- Rikka is hit countless times by Yuuta.

- In the early part of season 2, in a dream Yuuta has, Rikka can be seen under a cover, supposedly naked laying on top of him. Nothing happens and no nudity can be shown, though snippets of his thoughts later on show. Alas, nothing happens, no nudity is shown or anything.
Violence & Gore
- There are fake guns in the series not violent.
