Alice and Trixie have a group of women over. They have a fortune teller there, and she entertains them by reading palms and using playing cards. Ralph and Norton come in and are so sanctimonious that the women leave. But Madame Zelda asks Ralph if he wants his fortune told. What she tells him lead to all kinds of trouble. He is so impressionable, it's unbelievable. I couldn't help but think of Laurel and Hardy as I watched this episode. This is a master's degree in gullibility.
