The Henderson storyline seems to be limping to a depressingly predictable conclusion after showing stabs of originality.Its only plus point is on its focus on Margaret, who despite some inconsistent characterisation comes across convincingly as a woman pushed to the end of her tether by being surrounded with generational violence, afraid for her safety and losing her son and possibly her liberty because she was too scared to ask for help.There's a rather messy attempt to draw a comparison between her and Sasha, two people who did the wrong thing out of fear, which just about works if you look really hard for it. Xavier's reaction to Sasha is disappointing but he just about makes up for it by ultimately supporting her and also calling Gina out on her hypocrisy.Alan giving Julie a fairly gentle shove to prove to the audience he's the bad guy is totally lacking in subtlety, however.
Meanwhile, Bianca and Liam continue their rather self-righteous attempts to keep their marriage together with lies and intimidation. Although going round to see Heath was a bad move, April does seem to be trying to do the right thing and even Heath seems more or less on the side of the angels.Darcy makes some telling points to Bianca that, significantly, she doesn't really answer.
