Finally, it literally ignites.

Panic starts to set in when the family realise that Tom is missing, Sarah makes a shocking revelation. Secrets and lies are unearthed, all the while the raging fire gets ever closer.

This was easily the best of the four episodes, and if I'm honest, this is what I'd hoped the series would have been like from the very off. This was wonderfully dramatic, with all of that plot threads and developments coming together.

Once again, the visuals were incredible, great pains to make this look authentic.

Some pretty nice character development, Brad definitely came to life, what a complete and utter creep. Brad's final revelation to Mia was such an unsettling moment.

I thought Danny Dyer was excellent in this final chapter, he got to do a bit of acting, that scene where he confronts Sarah was excellent (although you can't help wondering why the pair weren't a little more occupied with finding Tom.)

Good performances from the whole cast, Darren McMullen really did steal the show.

Unsettling and very dramatic.

8/10.

A great but tragic conclusion

Warning: Spoilers
Somehow we all knew it would probably end in tragedy in some way and it certainly did.

And what an evil character Brad was played creeperly well by Darren McMullen.

The weirdest thing watching it here in Australia is that before the episode we are watching the actor Darren McMullen in a celebrity version of The Amazing Race and it's so hard to cheer him on when you know what an evil, twisted character he is on this show!

But back to Heat. It was a lot deeper show than I think a lot of people might give it credit for, it's just not who might get out and who might not. But how these people deal with such horrible realisations. So incredibly sad that one of the sweet characters didn't make it out and Danny Dyer who was superb, did what he had to do at the end. It was justifiable killing.
