The talion's law, the devil and the gravedigger.

An pleasant murder investigation with some interesting characters: the gendarmerie captain Sofia Guérini and the gendarmerie commander Delorme in charge of the investigation, Bastien Keller, the geologist who was in jail (a landslice provoked the death of a man and a woman in a coma) but is collaborating with the investigation because he has studied the caves in this area, Gaspard Dupaquier , the son of the victim, Laurent Lachapelle , the agricultural manager of the vineyard, Frédéric Métauer, a wine maker. In a first time the investigation is oriented towards the story of the famous 1916 Champagne bottles who have disappeared (a landslice in the famous wine caves).

During the investigation Sofia, the commander and the deputy attorney have found drawings with the words "the Talion's law, the devil and the graveddiger" and little by little the murders have another sense.

I enjoyed the performances of Samira Lachhab, Stéphane Blancofort, Yaniss Lepert, Stéphane Monpetit, Didier Nobletz and Victorien Robert.

well crafted

Well crafted is the fair term to define entire series. But, in its case, I was seduced by the use of a political correct aspect, moving nuances and accents being just fair used. The murderer discover is, scene by scene expression of a very good recipe, no doubts, from ambiguity to the essential clue, from the Clash between personal life and suspicions to the inspired, fresh end. Easy to see it as a nice episode, including the end, forced ore naif in other case , pretty decent în this one.

In short, a good story, nice acting, fair dialogue and construction of story and a case with interesting turns. And it seems just enough.
