When Michael Jackson tragically passed away on June 25, 2009, the world was stunned. As fans continue to pay tribute to the King of Pop four years later, Michael's family members have their own quiet ways of honoring the memory of their son and brother. Michael's father, Joe, and his sister La Toya recently spoke about him over an intimate lunch, opening up about their still-present ache over Michael's death and sharing stories from the Jackson family past.
"I remember being a little girl and how hard you worked the brothers. And Michael," La Toya says to her father. "I know you did a lot making sure they brought out their talent... they would never know they had that talent today if it wasn't for you."
"One thing about Michael..." Joe begins. "I miss him so much."
The famous father tells La Toya that he's still surrounded by Michael's music whenever he steps out in public.

La Toya Jackson married her one-time manager Jack Gordon in 1989, enduring a seven-year marriage to a man she has alleged was physically abusive. Along with the fear and brutality La Toya says she experienced during that marriage, she recently made another shocking confession about the relationship.
Confronted by best friend Kathy Hilton about why La Toya abruptly stopped dating a kind man named George and what La Toya seems to be hiding behind her happy smile, La Toya says it all comes back to Gordon. "After my ex, I couldn't trust anybody, Kathy," La Toya says. "There was a point where I was really embarrassed to talk about my ex-husband."
Kathy keeps digging. "I'm going to ask you a personal question," she says to La Toya. "Did you have sex with him?"
"Absolutely not," La Toya answers firmly. "He forced himself one time and I screamed and I screamed and I screamed.

When La Toya Jackson appeared on Donald Trump's "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice," her turn as project manager led to one of the most publicized feuds in "Celebrity Apprentice" history. When La Toya's teammate Omarosa unexpectedly left the competition to tend to a "family emergency" regarding her late fiancé Michael Clarke Duncan, La Toya's team ended up losing the challenge -- and La Toya was at risk for being fired. Back in the boardroom, Omarosa's tearful, almost defiant, explanation drew discomfort, eye rolls and palpable tension from the rest of the team. Sincere or not, everyone -- including Trump -- assumed La Toya would bring Omarosa into the boardroom with her.
She didn't.
Omarosa's crocodile tears made La Toya spare the reality-tv villain and, for that decision, Trump fired La Toya. Later that night, cameras captured La Toya's behind-the-scenes reaction for her Own show, "Life With La Toya." In this clip,...

La Toya Jackson's relationship with her father Joe has always been about business. The Jackson family patriarch has been very involved in the music careers of his famous children, so La Toya has always approached her father in more of a professional than personal manner. In fact, she has called her dad "Joseph" for as long as she can remember.
Lately, however, La Toya says she has realized that this business-focused relationship isn't the type of relationship she wants with her father. In this clip from "Life With La Toya," the middle Jackson sister takes the first step toward establishing a more personal father-daughter connection with Joe during a camping trip.
While sitting alone by the campfire, La Toya opens up about her feelings. "I'm just happy we're able to spend this time together," La Toya says to her father.
"It means a lot to me knowing that you care so much,...

As a part of music's most famous family, La Toya Jackson has seen her fair share of recording booths -- but she's never experienced a recording session quite like this one with drag superstar/singer/actor RuPaul.
La Toya teamed up with RuPaul for her new European-inspired dance song, "Feel Like Dancing." In this clip from "Life With La Toya," the two head into the studio to record the number after finalizing the upbeat track and writing the lyrics.
It's not the smoothest start, but once La Toya and RuPaul get settled in, the recording session takes off. Raps La Toya, "I don't care what they say about me. 'Life With La Toya,' that's who I be. Got a problem with all my cash? Then tell 'em, RuPaul..."
"Y'all can kiss her ass!" RuPaul finishes.
Toss in a few funny outtakes, some bubbles and the duo's own dance moves,...

Lately, La Toya Jackson has been talking about adopting a child. She's spoken with an adoption agency, discussed adoption with her friends and also cared for a mechanical baby to become more familiar with the responsibilities of parenting. But La Toya's friends still don't think she's ready to adopt. So, to give the middle Jackson sister a glimpse into caring for real children, La Toya's friends arrange for her to take on a babysitting job.
In this clip from "Life With La Toya," La Toya has arrived at the home of two children (the niece and nephew of her assistant), eager to babysit 3-year-old Inara and 15-month-old Riley. The babysitting gig begins smoothly enough, with La Toya introducing herself to Inara as "Toy," but takes a dangerous turn when the toddler asks La Toya to make her macaroni and cheese.

At 56 years old, La Toya Jackson says she might finally be ready to be a mom. She is already an aunt to several of her famous siblings' children -- including brother Michael's kids, Prince, Paris and Blanket -- but has been considering adoption recently to create a family of her own.
In this clip from "Life With La Toya," the middle Jackson sibling has just left an adoption agency, accompanied by her best friend Kathy Hilton. To help La Toya decide if she's truly ready to be a mother, Kathy decides to bring her friend a special gift.
Inside a large, pink gift bag is something La Toya never expected: a mechanical baby. The mechanical baby comes with a set of keys that fit into a panel on its back. Each of the electronic keys represents an action, such as feeding, diaper changes and burping.

She says she's doing that now on her new Own reality show, "Life With La Toya," which airs Saturday nights at 10:30 Pt/Et. La Toya Jackson says she still has many questions surrounding the death of her brother, music icon Michael Jackson. Since the King of Pop passed away in June 2009 from cardiac arrest due to acute propofol intoxication, La Toya has often wondered about the specific circumstances of his death. Was it a negligent accident? Was it a murder conspiracy? Will she ever find out?
In this clip from a recent episode of "Life with La Toya," the middle Jackson sister decides to visit a psychic in an attempt to get answers to her questions regarding Michael's death. Careful not to give anything away up front, La Toya dons a disguise and alters her voice so that the spiritual medium, A.J. Barrera, won't be influenced by her identity.

La Toya Jackson, the tabloid-staple middle child of music's most famous family, says the decision to invite television cameras into her personal life was an easy one for a single, liberating reason: At long last, nothing and no one stand in her way.
"There is such a misconception about not just me, but my family, as well," Jackson tells Zap2it of her new Own series "Life With La Toya," premiering Saturday (April 13). "For the first time, this is something I want to do. The Jacksons have always been a mystery. That mystery has been unveiled."
Though the show addresses a stockpile of Jackson family dramas in the very first episode -- from the long-term abuse La Toya suffered at the hands of her manager/husband Jack Gordon to the blistering infighting that followed her superstar brother Michael's 2009 death -- there is a charming lightness to its star that manifests itself in her infectious "hee-hee-hee!

Ever since Michael Jackson passed away in 2009, people have gathered in his hometown of Gary, Indiana, for an annual memorial honoring the King of Pop. This candlelight vigil is held each year on Michael's birthday (August 29) and is typically attended by several members of the Jackson family.
But La Toya Jackson, the middle Jackson sibling, did not attend her late brother's last annual memorial, -- a choice she explains in this clip from the "Life With La Toya" series premiere. "I didn't want the memories of being sad," she tells her mother Katherine on the phone. With Michael's annual memorial once again approaching, La Toya must decide whether or not she will travel to Indiana this time.
"It's not going to be sad, is it?" La Toya asks her mom.
"No, no, not at all," Katherine tells her.
Reassured, La Toya agrees to attend. "You've convinced me to come," she...
