There's a couple of fairly interesting story lines bubbling under here, so it's a shame they're derailed slightly by the return of a suddenly rather insipid Hayley and the resulting softly spoken psychosis of Brax...softly spoken with everyone other than Heath that is, who is once again on the receiving end of one of Brax's physical admonishments. The attempt at a literal cliffhanger falls flat due to the lack of threat and the fact that it's hard to care.
So that's the negative points out of the way.On the plus side, some poor continuity aside, the power play between Heath, Liam and Bianca continues to intrigue, with a rather desperate gambit by Liam having unforeseen consequences.The other power play between John and Harvey sees them lose their cloak of reasonableness as Harvey possibly makes a mistake by playing his only card and makes John even more determined to bring him down.
