The only thing holding this film back was really a knock-out blow. There are some twists near the end but unfortunately they're pretty predictable. Some actors unfortunately finish their careers with very poor films, but I think Ashwin hassan and Chandan raj can be proud of the final product he put forward. This one is worth a watch. We meet Ashwin hasssan strong cop character, who comes with a little bit of background subject matter. Unfortunately, the start of the film is not the section that will grip you. The hero and villain plot begins soon after. Great action movie with interesting plot. Great acting all around but I was especially impressed with both Ashwin hassan and Chandan raj. Mahalakshmi annapoorna and sharmila is also great. Although the start of the crime takes place within a fair amount of time, followed up by awesome fight sequences and car chases, the first 15 minutes definitely take time to introduce us to the story.
I highly recommend everyone to watch.

Finally, I have to say that "Thugs of ramaghada" is a nice and interesting action movie consisted of some unpredictable plot twists so, I highly recommend everyone to watch it because I am sure you will enjoy it. KGF, Kantara, Vedha If you like any of those movies, you're definitely in the right place. Unfortunately it's missing something which is rather elusive...The camera barely even brings him into focus, you've got a cast who all performed well but none really stood out. Great cast not boring and convincing performances, impressive camera work outside the some scene with the white gloves.

This movie is an action and crime riot that stays soooo true to its name. Great action sequences and witty quirky one liners every 5 minutes. Lemme shed some light on how great an actor Chandan Raj is. I mean there were so many instances where he didn't even needed to say anything and just makes you thrilled with his amazing expressions. Director Karthik has taken this movie to a next level all together with his presence. The movie has a good script and screenplay that supports the movie and holds it together till the very end.
I would recommend this movie to any and everybody and is a through and through family mass entertainer unless you don't like action or crime movies.

Usual story with an unexpected and mind blowing screenplay. Do watch this or dont repent later. Keeps you engaged throughout, Very watchable but equally predictable, sadly. The twists were telegraphed, but it didn't detract from the entertainment and ashwin was excellent throughout. Overall this was a pretty good action thriller. While the storyline was a bit simplistic and commercial aspects, the execution was top notch. Ashwin hassan played the part of hardened cop really well, and the supporting characters held their own. A run of the Crime thriller which doesn't really do anything new, but is still good and entertaining to watch. Not as tense as I was expecting as it focuses on the drama and the pensive stances of the lead, but the acting's good (although the characters are rather cliché) and the action and overall style is realistic and gritty. It has been long time since we seen a realistic action movie with great actions scenes. Overall, in time, history will never forget this effort. Well written script, good actors, surprising turning Point, and nice ending. Director Karthik Maralabhavi did his best in direction.

Will put it simply, the storyline is quite average but all the extra stuff in the movie (the Story, action, twists) make it a movie worth watching. Not a min. Goes by in the entire movie which isnt exhilarating, every moment of the movie is pure excitement. Great job by Chandan Raj and even greater job by his co actor Ashwin Hassan. Also one of the finest and action packed movie ever created. A feel of refreshing movie after a long list of never ending flops by the kannada industry. Cheers to both the actors and directors for creating nothing short of a masterpiece worth watching. Screenplay, Actions are Good.

It's the sort of story you can see coming from a mile away, but it is fast paced and pretty relentless in the telling of it, making it entertaining and very watchable. Lots of violence and chase scenes, action fans will appreciate it. Loved the time limit placed on the characters, Ashwin and Chandan is great. Must watch..Nevertheless it is engaging throughout and no matter how hard you try to find the twist you will end up getting surprised like never before ! Chandan Raj acting is the backbone of the movie. Superb slow pace engaging movie with much needed social message...Enough twists are revealed at the regular intervals and the script keeps the viewers glue to the screen... The climax twist is ultimate and the message is most welcome...Despite its many narrative flaws, Thugs of Ramaghada ends up being an impactful watch because of the social message that it carries and ultimately portrays with nuance and subtletyy.

And I think this will be the first movie of Kannada without any social message but frankly I just love the movie- it was totally roller coster ride, full on thriller and mix of perfect action.
No unnecessary love angle, No Drama and No Boring unwanted songs......It's perfect action movie of intelligently presented Action Hero..!!
Chandan Raj acting was awsome as always and combination of Chandan Raj and Ashwin was made it more entertaining and interesting.

Director Karthik Maralabhavi with good selection of script, the movie is really engaging and Ashwin and chandan have just done a great job here, the script is really tight pacy and keep you on the edge of the seat with crime scenes!
The actions scenes are worth appreciating, they have been choreographed really well, and the stunts performed are really amazing, kudos to the background score as well it compliments the action scenes and the pace of the film.
Not sure why this is not getting the response it should but I must say it is worth watching and it is much better than the actions films with nonsense stories which are getting hit these days.

Acting and the direction is top notch. Keeps you hooked to the seat and both halves are very fast paced and exciting, Loved this movie. Good plot. Great acting. Engaging story. There are also surprise in terms of fresh cast. I'm seeing that there are no good box office collection for this film This film definitely needs more audience attention. I had gone to watch this film with very low expectations but Ashwin Hassan as always stands out. The film is perfect example of entertainment and is a must watch for the audiences who want to laugh and thrill at same time. Other actors of the film are also great and don't disappoint. Ashwin Hassan showed that he can single handedly entertain the audience and he doesn't need a female co-star. The movie was definitely engaging, Must watch.

Well, Ashwin hassan makes it much better than that! He really was one heck of an actor! And he make his character, Chandan raj, really smoke on the screen! I'd have loved to see a sequel with this character. The directing was on point, the casting great, and the run-time and pacing perfect. I enjoyed it more than I thought. I don't think there are many things that will be open or rather not openly foreseeable for most of the viewers. I did have one character reveal that I did not think about, but other than that ... But as it is, this movie works as a thriller, even when you know what's up. Good one.

This movie deserves Good rating rating. It is a very beautiful movie. Not able to understand why it is rated so low. I saw it on theatr and I was surprised with the quality of this movie. Movie has Action thriller, it has emotions and was able to give the message to the audience. Highly recommended movie. It is even better than releases. I recommend all to watch, this movie is far better than it is what rated. All scenes they are done well . Actions are good and timings of the songs is perfect. This is a really solid movie in almost every aspect. The plot is interesting, the dialogue is snappy and clever, the action sequences are extremely well done. In fact the first action sequence in the movie is incredible to watch. Tense, surprising and easy to follow. It's also a beautifully shot film. Despite taking place almost entirely at night, it is never too dark.
Personality we have seen many films like this, most recently Black and Blue which I scored highly and again this, whilst in the same spirit as Black and Blue this film actually has a more realistic feel to it which I enjoyed, I especially loved the original music used, not what you expect.
