Decent, but too sensationalised.

A pretty well made true crime three parter that is hindered by how much it tries to be a Netflix documentary rather than it's own thing.

One strength is the length and pacing. They also put a lot of focus on the town and the family themselves, which is great.

However, it's supposed to be quite empathetic and comes across as such, but became extremely uncomfortable towards the end when they dared to ask the grieving mother to describe what she thinks happened to her abducted and murdered 5 year old daughter. It's a very strange scene and you can see how upset she is - I don't really understand the purpose of it.
