I am a U.S. MARINE so I know the chain of command & NCIS is a little different. Gibbs is not Ducky superior or supervisor or even Abbys for that matter. Only the SecNav & the director & the assistant director supervise & are superior to Ducky & Abby. Gibbs is the team leader & he only can supervise his team which consist of only Tony, McGee, & Ziva.
