I mean, the premise was fine, the pie villain was funny, and the cameos from a few secondary characters were a bit interesting, but the overall result wasn't anything memorable.
On the other side, while in this episode Benson had a somewhat antagonistic role towards Mordecai and Rigby, at least his behavior wasn't as bad as in episodes like "The Best Burger in the World" or "Replaced", where he seemed to genuinely hate the duo. Benson's personality had been changing in some of the recent episodes, sometimes being portrayed as a strict character which had a nice personality very deep inside, and sometimes as a completely unlikeable jerk who yells and lose his temper at everything. I guess that's the main reason why some "Regular Show" think that is very hard to sympathize with Benson, despite the fact that he was showed to be a more complex that he seemed to be at first sight, particularly in the second (Which in my humble opinion was the best part of the series.)
