People like the author of this documentary, give their energy, time, work to create something that has no other purpose or interest but the spreading the message of truth. In this way the messenger is also a message itself! That of course, is no coincidence... The documentary touches great ideas and questions of us as human beings in this time of Change. The ideas of God, polarity of our world, change and the nature of our existence as humans, are given from different points of view. It is time for our reality to welcome new ideas. MOVIE REVIEW. 2012 Crossing Over: A New Beginning
Spoiler Alert: Spirituality, yoga and paranormal concepts are all the rage these days, and it would seem they are just like any other fad or trend that comes and goes in our fast-paced and always-changing society. But I am grateful to say "spirituality" is not a trend, it's not going anywhere by fading out only to be replaced by the next big thing!! Rather spirituality is simply an awareness, that every person --in their own time-- arrives at when they're ready to start exploring who they are, why are they here, and what their purpose is to learn what their unique gifts are and how they want to give back to our beautiful world in alignment with their own Soul Contract.
Santos Bonacci, a student of astro-theology for 30+ years, emphatically asks "Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are?" and explains by understanding astrology enables us --empowers us-- to comprehend exactly who we are through the knowing of what "birth signs" mean, and what the energy behind each sign represents. As the earth spins, only specific constellations are visible to us as we gaze into the night sky. That constellation --the one we can see on our birthday-- is the sign which energetic "rules us." Expressed more compassionately and politically correct: It's the zodiac sign which influences our emotions and thought processes, and in turn, influences our behaviors.

On December 21st, 2012, the end of the Mayan Calendar is official. This is actually the beginning of the energy of Unity Consciousness, when we drop and dissolve our man-made barriers of separateness; of national, religious and cultural boundaries; and of believing we are different than the "rest of the world." When in reality, the only thing different is our skin color and the languages we speak.
Most of us are visual learners and certainly want proof --some sort of tangible evidence-- of that which we cannot see or touch is actually real. This documentary superbly concretizes the science behind the spirituality and metaphysical mumbo-jumbo! While "theories" are deemed unprovable and offer simply a way of looking at things --a way of perceiving the world-- 2012 Crossing Over connects the dots and builds a sturdy bridge for us to travel providing sure and stable footing for our journey.
For instance, one huge advantage of this documentary is that it's divided into chapters, just like a book. Why this is so significant is because there are numerous moving parts involved in understanding the grand picture, in comprehending the magnitude of what has taken place throughout our societies. Tresnjic has interwoven these moving parts seamlessly with smooth and eloquent transitions creating one cohesive piece allowing us to enjoy the journey of untwisting and disentangling these otherwise confusing and muddled relationships which have been in existence right before our very eyes, yet we were so unable to see the connections before this documentary spelled them out for us: Bravissimo! "When you connect the dots between apparently unconnected people, situations, organizations, and world events, then you start to see how they fit together. Suddenly, this bewildering and confusing world starts to take on a much clearer dimension. Because only by connecting the dots... over a vast range of subjects, of situations, of people, can you start to see why the world is upside down, why it is as it is, and crucially, why behind that smokescreen of complexity is an amazing revelation of who we are and the nature of life!" exclaims David Icke.
It is essential for each of us to identify who we are and what we brought to the table in order to achieve joy within our lives. This film is a must see for any individual who has an interest in searching for the truth. In the current environment where fact is often stranger than fiction, it is easy to become overwhelmed and paralyzed by fear which is continuously encouraged by the media. 2012: Crossing Over, A New Beginning is a beautiful film that reminds us of the choice we have- to live in fear or live in love! What more important message is there? Whether you were personally connected to the message behind the so called 'end of the world' in 2012 or not, this film puts the entire build up to the event in to perspective. It also addresses current world domination theories, whilst managing to leave you feeling uplifted and connected to the endless opportunities to experience joy on this planet.

We hear so much gloom and doom in the news today. Indeed there are many self-made threats to the world's habitability. Here is a movie which brings a message of hope that rests on an understanding of humans as more than flesh and blood and on the belief that humans are eternal souls who are holographic shards of Divinity.
Whether or not you believe in astrology, the premise that all people are equally eternal and equally able to spiritually evolve is an improvement on apocalyptic scenes of eternal damnation for some and undeserved salvation for the few. It is also more hopeful than a merely materialistic view of the universe.
The movie places the future in our hands. We have the power to overthrow ignorance and selfishness through courage and love. The voices of the common people are heard, common people who have discovered their inner divinity and who are not afraid to say so against the voices of convention that deny its possibility.
The movie was made wholly by one young person who escaped with his family from Bosnia during the war there. They almost lost their lives and certainly lost their possessions. Yet this young film maker is filled with optimism, bravery and love for humanity.
This movie articulates a growing connection of mystically inclined people throughout the world who find Divinity resident in all hearts and who leave the narrow constraints of their cultures to reach out in a spirit of love, understanding, empowerment and courage to birth a new world of sharing, tolerance, compassion and truth.

Having been in broadcasting, I made minor contributions to the fear around 12/21/12. The "experts" seemed to have reason for predicting fearful events, but on the other side of that date we can all see what was happening was the simple promotion of fear.
Had enough? The planet has and I'm coming around myself.
In my opinion, this film does an outstanding job of presenting the spiritual truths that will guide us and the planet. Through the eyes of many knowledgeable guests and excellent editing to tie their messages together, "Crossing Over" offers the choice we all make daily, over and over again. That choice is between love and fear. Sounds easy; it's not. But fortunately it is simple.
Of the 2012 films available, "Crossing Over" offers what turns out to be a more honest look at where we are in space and time than any I've seen. Kudos to the film makers and thanks for freely offering this gift.

Beautiful movie,made with love! I enjoyed everything about it: the different speakers,the chapters,the cycles of evolution,the images. Very clear explanation about the changes in the Universe and how they affect us human beings. The movie is very inspiring, hopeful and it is a pure message about the New Time coming. A message with love instead of fear! I have noticed there is a lot of fear information going around, this was the first good movie I have seen about the New Time and the changes that are coming our way. I hope this movie will inspire a lot of people so we can all change the world together. I hope many people will awaken and realize they can make a change by changing themselves and take on responsibility for themselves...that is the only way to create a world of love and harmony. We are still here after December 21th so let's start to change, together!

For a fresh positive perspective on a topic mired by naysayers and doomsdayers, take time out to watch this documentary. Written, produced and directed single handedly by Amel Tresnjic, it cuts through the reams of irrelevant hype to reveal the simple truths that surely resonate with those having open minds capable of critical thought. These truths lie within all of us, yet at times are forgotten. But thanks to this gentleman's work, more people will see a different side of life. The right side. What would be great is if they also took inspiration to act upon it within their realms of existence, thereby making the world a better place, as Amel has done with this production.

It is the right film at the right time at the beginning of the new cycle. It radiates the strength and power of LOVE - the answer to all. It animates to chose our Inner Light and to decide ourselves taking on the purpose we came here for. It portrays amazing people inviting us to be one of them ...

My husband and I watched this film after my father-in-law forwarded it to us. After all the non-sense about 2012 being the end of the world full of disasters, this was very refreshing!
I enjoyed having validation for what I felt the meaning of Dec. 21st, 2012 to symbolize and the film also taught astrological information and insights that I did not previously know.
The cast was new to me, which was also nice. Coming from Canada, many of the films on certain subjects tend to repeat the same teachers and therefore teachings. New insights are most often obtained by new input and this is what Amel was able to do seamlessly.
Thank you so much for producing this film and I look forward to the next ones! April

Thanks for your e-mail. I really liked your Crossing Over movie....first of all it came into my awareness when i had to deal with my disappointment of having my expectations smashed regarding the whole End of Mayan Calendar 'thingy'. I wanted something magical to happen, well, it didn't and your movie "popped' up as a sane alternative version of what our future can be, it offered some consolation to me from people who seemed not to have fallen for 'the magic version' of events. It helped me to 'save face' with friends who all along had minimized the 2012 phenomenon.
The movie also accentuated the positive...with a strong emphasis on Love as opposed to Fear...which is what I have been resonating with intellectually: Emotion-wise though, fears always creep back in, I am not by any means where I want to be regarding fears, especially fears of the Dark Forces keep 'popping' up and I have not been able to explain this to people in a way that make sense to them.
That is another reason why I really like your film because it explains the Fear agenda and the Dark Forces in a way that is understandable to uninitiated people, even my wife was able to watch it without accusing me of being a conspiracy theorist and an acquaintance who I have been working on for a while had this to say, she seems to be waking up:
"..watched all of it. Impressive; provocative; loving. Thank you."
I am not knowledgeable about movie production techniques but found the fast clips of different people saying the same basic thing was very helpful to 'drive home the message' so to speak. It would have become boring if we had to watch people through their whole interviews sequentially, this 'clipping' way is much more effective as far as I am concerned.
I also am grateful that Kennedy's speech was included, I have found this to be a very persuasive way of waking people up to what is going on in our world.
If i would change anything at all about the movie it would be to cut the Chaplin Hitler part at the end...to my mind he is stuck in emphasizing 'science and reason' if I heard right and I think the answer is Love as a way to live and be, which often is in direct conflict with what our 'science and reason' proponents stand for, at least up until now in our era. But that is the only thing I would change (I seem to remember seeing a comment on your film where the reviewer expressed the same sentiment regarding Chaplin).
In summary, thanks again for a superb hopeful vision of what our future can be!

What an absolutely amazing watch! Initially I was going to play it in the background while doing other chores, but from the moment it began I was gripped to my seat and could not move for the duration of it! Amel Tresnjic's passion for this project is felt throughout the film. Not only did he single handedly write, edit, direct and produce the entire film but you feel the excitement and heart that went into creating it as you watch it.
Towards the end especially I was filled with joy and excitement as the ripples of consciousness this film sends out with its viewing.
A lot of gratitude to Amel and all who openly shared their knowledge and wisdom in the creation of this film.

If your looking for some clarity or a sense of hope in your life, this is the must watch movie for you. This truly inspirational film will touch the depths of your being and help to shine some light on your path. We are entering a very special time in our evolutionary cycle and this will help to explain how these cycles work, why we feel the way we do, and how we can become a unique part of this amazing time. All I can say is it makes sense of things, somehow, I suspected and actually had no idea other people thought about or had evidence to back it up. I have studied astrology as a hobby and other things related, but this really help clarify some things for me and gave me confidence and hope for the future. I would definitely encourage and recommend everyone to watch this. Most people probably won't but the right ones will. I have noticed a real shift in my own and others awareness that has been gradual but steady so this video validated what my sub conscience was already telling me was happening to myself and others. It helped me understand why for so long it seemed negative events were happening to me and why when I deprogrammed the negative self talk and victim mentality that was programmed at an early age, things started changing. Explains a lot of increase in psychic and paranormal events and my own and others awareness and interest in them as well. I think this is a great endeavor. I'm glad there are enlightened people in the world willing to freely share this information and hope for the universe. This explains, to me, what all religions are trying to tell us from their own varying but similar facets of consciousness. Thank you for this!
Everything is The Lesson or The Blessing

There are no coincidences and so everything is As it should be. Perfectly perfect and can use some improvement. This movie appealed perfectly well to the collective mood as the end of the Mayan calendar and the end of 2012 approached. With the re-release one year on, the improved content focuses more sharply on the crossing over component with the opportunities and blessings this might bring.
When I watched the original release it seemed to appeal to both sides of my brain. It was logically brilliant and well constructed with knowledge and opinion that entertained and informed. There was also an invitation provided to imagine a better world and way of living for all. Through fear or love, and all their derivatives, we all have the power to bring out the best, or worst, in each situation, viewpoint, others and ourselves. The viewer who might choose to interact and participate is perhaps challenged to reassess their own point of awareness, their observations and reactions and use of emotions in creating any reality in their own mind.
And I guess that might be the point: How it's possible to awaken your mind and create a better reality through realisation that Fear is being used to manipulate and control while Love is the best answer to every question and we could co-create a better Universe for all.
