Fantastic episode. Kiku Sharda is a national treasure and deserves a lot more love and respect than he does.

The quality of Kapil's show dipped quite a bit after the exit of some key members recently, but the good thing is that the current creative team is taking feedback from the viewers and constantly trying out new things on the show. It goes without saying that after Kapil Sharma, Kiku Sharda is the most valuable player in the team, but what remains beyond my understanding is as to why he doesn't get the same kind of love from the audience as Sunil Grover and Krishna Abhishek. Kiku held the fort after Sunil Grover's exit from the show and continues to do so after Krishna's exit. Kiku Sharda is an exceptional talent who delivers every punch perfectly every single time, and yet remains extremely underrated as a comedian. This new segment where he comes as Gudiya and scolds her sister Rani is always hilarious to watch, purely because of his comic timing. In this episode, once again Kiku's work was fantastic and his conversation with Rani is guaranteed to tickle your funny bone.

Siddharth Sagar has been a great addition to Kapil's show. In the absence of other big names, he had an enormous task at hand to fill in their shoes but he hasn't disappointed at all. I am glad Kapil Sharma gave him this opportunity because Siddharth always had the potential but talent without opportunity and the right guidance just remains wasted. Siddharth's raw talent is getting polished in this show and the day is not far, when he will also receive the same kind of admiration and respect that Krishna Abhishek and Sunil Grover get and upcoming comedians will look up to him for inspiration. He performed out of his skin to mimic Ranveer Singh in this episode and it felt great to see him put in so much effort.

I liked the enthusiasm being shown by the guests in this episode, especially Pooja Hegde, because generally actresses stay extremely quiet on Kapil's show. Kapil and his creative team must find ways to engage the guests in the proceedings of the show, otherwise it will just become like Comedy Circus or other reality shows where celebrity's presence is reduced to merely completing a formality. The best episodes are the ones where the guests get into a friendly banter with Kapil Sharma, and that is why the episodes with Shah Rukh Khan or Akshay Kumar are the most entertaining to watch.

The audience question and answer round has been terrible since the days of Comedy Nights with Kapil, and yet that segment finds its way back to the show after every few months. Kapil Sharma really needs to cut that segment out of the show and ask questions to the celebrities on his own instead. As it is the questions being asked by the audience members are not their own, and sometimes even the people asking those questions are not from the audience but from Kapil's crew, so why keep such a segment that never evokes any kind of laughter!

Gaurav Dubey, who is now performing the role of Rani, is quite clearly the weakest of all the artists in the current team, and in my humble and honest opinion should not be made a part of the show. Regardless of what role Gaurav has played, he has managed to disappoint in every single one of them. Kapil really needs to find a replacement for him and if the budget is so tight then he should look for a new producer, because this show is an absolute beauty that has brought happiness in the lives of millions of people and there is no way it should shut down. I am sure there must be a number of producers who would happily back his show.

I can't end this review without mentioning how funny it is to know that Archana Puran Singh gets paid, sometimes more than the artists as well, for sitting on a chair and laughing all the time. This is not a competition where points are to be given and a winner is to be selected; why is she required? Why not give Archana Puran Singh a better job instead? They often perform comedy skits, why not give her a role in that? What's the point of having a paid spectator with an irritating laugh? Archana Puran Singh has no reason to be on the show, she adds no value to the show and therefore she must be offered a different show, which has an actual use of her skills.
