A slight improvement

Second volume of this Digital Playground series, shot during the transition from DP being an independent company (known for its "Pirates" blockbuster hits) to being swallowed up into a Canadian-based conglomerate, substitutes Kayden Kross in the title role for initial vixen roommate Selena Rose, and that adds to the entertainment value.

It begins with a 2-minute recap of highlights from Episode 1, featuring archive footage of previous femme players Rose, Vicki Chase and Asa Akira. Chase returns for the final reels of Episode Two, bedding down with the new roommate Charles Dera, and setting up a cute comeuppance ending (but two more dreaded sequels are awaiting perusal).

The male leads are as tiresome as ever: Erik Everhard and Nacho Vidal both pulling faces as 1-dimensional characters best summed up as "horny guys". Vowing not to repeat their mistake of having beautiful Serena as roommate to defray costs of living in a mansion, they opt for Dera, a new co-worker of Erik's. They are thrilled that he immediately brings home a couple of beauties, contract star Riley Steele plus Holly Michaels, and without further ado Erik humps Holly while Nacho has sex with Riley.

Director Robby D.'s typically lousy screenplay is not strong on continuity, as Dera next introduces his beautiful sister, star of the movie Kayden Kross, who is visiting him, and the boys insist she not go to a hotel but stay in the mansion. It's the height of predictability that Kayden then serially seduces Erik and Nacho, something Dera doesn't even notice, leading to the happenstance Dera/Vicki finale.

I look forward to watching Episodes 3 and 4 (not), which most likely repeat the same exact formula, but with new leading ladies.
