We've almost forgotten that Brax and Heath were bringing Kyle back to Summer Bay, so their sudden appearance there is a bit jarring.Kyle has an understandably volatile reunion with Casey and a surprisingly menacing one with Natalie. It's nice to see the line between Brax and Heath blurring somewhat:Here, Heath gets to play softly-spoken cop to Brax's knocking-them-about cop.
Mixing in with this is Sasha's pregnancy fears.Natalie is actually quite good in this episode as she acts as a decent adviser/confidante to Sasha. It's good to see things progressing and Casey's reaction is understandable, although it doesn't give Sasha the reassurance she was hoping for.
John, Gina and Jett provide the necessary light-hearted material, from the sweet opening shot of Jett asleep on John onwards.John's hopeless DIY attempts create some great comedy and even the apparently serious twist to his pratfall manages to be blackly comic.
