Imagine a show where they squander the talents of character actors like Peter Ferdinando and Paul Kaye. That's the kind of show this is. Next time consider making an original crime series with them as leads and give them something to do. Of course not - no one can do anything original they have to tack an old property name on it.
The twist with McGraw Jr killing his dad was predictable, like they were taking a page right out of Game of Thrones with the Boltons, so if this show gets another season, expect Ramsay 2.0 comin' atcha. The writing in this was all over the place, not a lot of logic between scenes and character reactions. Some good performances (namely a few of the veteran character actors). Stand in leads are serviceable.
