It was back in June of last year that we learned HBO Max had pulled the plug on the Ridley Scott-produced sci-fi series “Raised by Wolves,” cancelling the show after just two seasons. The series was subsequently pulled from HBO Max entirely, with promised plans to license the series (and others) to third-party free ad-supported streaming television (Fast) channels.
Making good on that promise, Bloody Disgusting has learned that “Raised by Wolves” has now found a new home at The Roku Channel, alongside HBO Max’s “Westworld.”
“Raised by Wolves” is now available for streaming on The Roku Channel as part of this week’s launch of 14 Warner Bros. branded linear channels, which include…
WB TV All Together: With stories that feel like home and characters who feel like family, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Programming includes Head of Class, Better With You, Eight is Enough and more.

Many of the shows that have been dropped from HBO Max streaming are now on the 13 new WB-themed Roku channels, the streaming hardware and software maker announced on Tuesday. WB TV Watchlist will now be home to sci-series “Westworld” and “Raised by Wolves” as well as “La Femme Nikita.”
HBO Max revealed in December that they would be licensing shows including “Westworld” to third-party Fast services. Roku has its own Fast service, the Roku Channel, and hosts third-party channels through a channel store.
There’s enough WB content for 13 Roku channels, some of which are dedicated to family programming, true crime, pets, reality TV series, and do-it-yourself.

Before I can even ask him a single question, Travel Channel’s intrepid Monumental Mysteries host Don Wildman quizzes me about my current location. When I tell him Milwaukee, he offers up a fascinating story about the underground caverns throughout the Midwest that German immigrants used to age and cool the first icy, refreshing pilsner beer Americans had ever quaffed. A fast trip to Google afterward reveals he’s spot-on. The Miller Brewing Co. in my hometown sports 160-year-old, man-made caves some 60 feet below ground. That’s just the kind of guy Wildman — the son of a history teacher dad and … Continue reading →

Where does the expression "If you believe that, I've got a bridge to sell you" come from? Could it be true that the inspiration for Dracula actually comes from Rhode Island? Why did we start thinking aliens traveled exclusively in flying saucers?
These are the types of questions answered in Don Wildman's Travel Channel series "Monumental Mysteries," premiering Thursday, May 9. The veteran of such derring-do series as "Off Limits" and "Cities of the Underworld" is now exploring the nation's monuments and sorting out fact from fiction when it comes to their history.
He brings a natural exuberance to the task and says the legends and myths around our monuments arise from the human need to tell stories that will live on.
"Everything in life, obscure or famous, eventually becomes a story with a hero and an obstacle," Wildman tells Zap2it. "It's the common thread of human society. We tell stories.
